Bruins Dominate Early

The Bruins came out flying, scoring three goals in the first period. Brad Marchand opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 4:23. David Pastrnak made it 2-0 with a goal at 11:24, and Patrice Bergeron added another goal at 17:32.

Panthers Rally

The Panthers got on the board in the second period with a goal from Sam Reinhart at 12:23. They cut the deficit to 3-2 with a goal from Aleksander Barkov at 15:54.

Swayman Shuts the Door

However, Swayman was outstanding in goal for the Bruins, making several key saves in the third period to preserve the lead. Marchand added an empty-net goal at 18:24, and David Krejci scored into an empty net at 19:26 to seal the victory.

Post-Game Reaction

“We played a great game tonight,” said Swayman. “The guys gave me a lot of help, and I was able to make some big saves when we needed them.”

“We played a good first period, but we didn’t play well enough in the second and third periods,” said Panthers coach Paul Maurice. “We have to be better if we want to win games.”

What’s Next?

The Bruins will host the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night. The Panthers will travel to Washington, D.C. to face the Capitals on Friday night.
